Balsamic Bruschetta
Description
Bruschetta is a classic Italian appetizer that is easy to make at home. Toasted bread is topped with a mixture of juicy tomatoes, garlic, Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, and balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of French Bread cut into 1/4th in. slices
- 1 2/3rds tbs. Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 8 Diced Roma Tomatoes
- 1/3rd cup of Chopped Basil
- 1 oz. of Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cloves of Minced Garlic
- 1 tbs. Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4th tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1/4th tsp. Ground Black Pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Brush bread slices lightly with 1 tbs of olive oil, and place onto a baking sheet. Toast the bread until golden, turning halfway through.
- While the bread toasts, toss together the tomatoes, basil, parmesan, and garlic in a bowl.
- Mix in the balsamic vinegar, the remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon mixture onto the toasted bread slices
